IDH Report Assistant!
We are thrilled to release the first version of our Report Assistant for Microsoft Word. The IDHReport Assistant is live on the Microsoft Add-in Appstore and is compatible with Windows, Mac as well as Web versions of Microsoft Word. This Add-in allows you to automate the data elements of writing any report or document.
This first version allows you to create custom charts and tables using data on IndiaDataHub by applying various data transformations as well as use your defined series by applying any of the BODMAS operations and custom formatting and chart types. The charts and tables are refreshable from within Microsoft Word by a single click, so you do not have to spend time downloading the data every time and updating the charts or tables and formatting them.
With this it should be easy for you to set up your reports and memos that are easy to update with just a few clicks. See this video for a quick demo:
The next version of this Report Assistant will allow you to link your Excel files saved on OneDrive with full on device processing of your OneDrive data as well as integrate elements of GenAI to further assist in writing reports. Extension to Microsoft Power Point is also being rolled out later this quarter. Stay tuned!
